Sometimes with a wordpress website, you are able to access the home page. But whenever you click on any other link on the site, you get a 404 error. One reason for this is the permalink configuration. In this guide, we will show you how to resolve this issue.
1. Login to your wordpress dashboard. From the dashboard you will see the settings option. Hover on it.
2. Once you place your cursor on the Settings option, you should see some more list of options. Select the Permalink Option
3. Next you should see the various permalink options. Select any of the options other than the current option and scroll down and click save. Once this is saved, select once again the previous option and save once more.
4. Now you can refresh your website and try the links once more. The issue should have been resolved.
